Biblos genesews Ihsou Xristou uiou Dauid Uiou Abraam

How does that look?

Hmmmm, need to remember the final sigma, and do some work on breathing and accents. Let's try again:

BibloV genesewV jIhsou Xristou Juiou Dauid Juiou Abraam

My rough and smooth breathing marks seem to be too far away from the letters they precede. Am I doing something wrong? I am using the 'j' key in upper and lower case for rough and smooth respectively.

Any suggestions?

Stephen

Hmm, sorry about the breathings. I think you are doing it right. I hope to be converting the forum to Unicode someday so we won't have those spacing problems.

Is it my my computer? I expected but don't see greek font text instead it appears as roman font text. I am using FireFox 2.0 beta.

What might I be doing wrong?

PS I have been gone from class these last times. I now am back home and finished other time consuming items. So its 75% of my waking day devoted to Greek study from now on. With some catching up to do. On the favorable front, I have a multitude of Greek books. Its so wonderful to look up the smallest iota of information and see the wide world that opens up there.

Good to have you back.

I had to do some fiddling to get teh Greek font working. To be honest I cannot remember which fiddle was teh one which made it work!
