Materials

Most of the materials for this fluency course are electronic and included with the course fee. If you have registered for the course you will see them listed below with instructions for accessing them. Besides these electronic resources there are two books required for the course which you must purchase.

If you are interested in materials that are NOT required for this course, but are still very good you can take a look at the materials listed through the materials link in the side bar. You should only pursue these if you are completing all of the course assignments and still have additional time to devote to Greek.

Lectures

There is a web page for each lesson of the textbook. You can access these from the left sidebar. If you have registered for the course you will see this videos and podcasts available on each page. Often I will have a grammatical commentary, where Prof. Schwandt works through the story phrase by phrase explaining the lesson grammar along the way. If you need more help with understanding the grammar of the lesson, you can also access recorded cohort meetings where Prof. Schwandt works through the lesson with a group of students. There are multiple years of these recordings available for viewing.

  • The only thing to set up is to register for the course, which creates an account for you on this site. Your username is your email address and you created your password when you registered. If you are have regsitered and still can't log in please contact the instructor. It could be that your account hasn't been activated yet (a manual operation), or you might have two entries in the database. In either case the instructor can resolve this issue.
  • It is also a good idea to try things in another broswer if they don't work initally. I recommend Firefox and Chrome. They are both free to download and install.
